Yes, apparently they are going to give her a fitting send off and I've read it will be very moving.

I read funeral scenes will be shown in Feb. Her son in corrie is going to go in the rovers to tell all the sad news.

I've read that several actors/actresses are coming back just for the one episode, ..........yes just checked it out on Wiki - see here...........
On 31 October 2011 following the death of the long running Coronation Street actress Betty Driver it was announced that Jean Alexander (who played Hilda Ogden)will be making a brief return to Coronation Street for the departure of Betty Driver's character Betty Williams along with former characters Bet Lynch (Julie Goodyear) and Raquel Watts (Sarah Lancashire)

Jean Alexander will be 86 in February........... i read somewhere that Alec Gilroy will also be in it with wife Bet (from Rovers Return) I wish they would ask Curly Watts back too ........

Last I saw of Curly, or the actor whose name escapes me, was in We Will Rock You in Edinburgh a couple of years ago, he was very good too.
