I have to eat my words and say that Episode 2 was far better. so Mrs Spagnoli and Euphemia - I bow down to you both and say I should have given it more of a chance.

(although it seems a pity that the part(s) I liked the most are teh part(s) that Charles Dickens didn't pen........)

I thought that it was much more interesting last night - I haven't read the book so did the BBC change much of it?

TBH I'm not sure where Dickens left off and the woman writer took over. But the 2nd episode held my attention a lot more.
hope it's better than the dire Great Expectations shown recently

That was hysterical em!! Although I have to say I quite enjoyed the 2nd episode the best once agai. By the 3rd episode it had all become rather silly. But Pip was delectable ;-)
I'm glad you enjoyed it. The second half was certainly much easier to follow.
Which cathedral featured in it?
Question Author
Once again, not sure. If I had time I'd go on the BBC website and find out - but I'm on my last 4 minutes of the library computer. and I have to go home and get out the whisky (medicinal purposes - seriously this time!)
It is apparently Rochester Cathedral.
Glad you enjoyed it more :)
