Emmerdale accident -

So harrowing to watch the accident but also so unbelievable:
Car turns over and over and lands on a ledge, Moira gets out herself, after being trapped.
Car falls to bottom of ravine, they manage to get him out - No I don't so!
John was trapped by legs, all that's wrong with him in hospital is a aortic tear - no mention of leg injuries.
Moira has huge gash on forehead, this gash changes to less and less grazes in the hospital. Walks without a limp, and only a few facial spots?
John is talking normally after a massive operation ............
Come on Corrie writers, do you think we are daft?

Were they meant to be hanging upside down straight after the crash. I couldn't work out where Moira's hair was at first.

Stop nitpicking Ann86 that was a stunning episode of Emmerdale and the acting more than made up for a bit of poetic licence within the post crash scenes. Personally I thought it was rather too realistic and represented very well what happens when cars run off the road.

Well I didn't find it harrowing at all. You saw it coming a mile off for a start. I thought it was ridiculous and embarrassing and I couldn't stop laughing. The whole thing was aimed at tugging at your heartstrings and wringing every last bit of sentiment out but was so badly acted that I had to keep looking away. I thought it was cringe makingly awful. And if you like I'll tell you what I really think:-)

It certainly tugged at my heartstrings. I know it's just pretend but it still made my eyes water. Very well acted and very sad, IMO.

how come it took10 hrs to drive 1 mile !! it was very obvious to all the parting shot from the farm was filmed at around 8 am but they crashed in the dark ,lol

Yes that is what I meant - lots and lots of discrepancies which really made it laughable! Sure the writers didn't want us to laugh and "nitpick" as I've just been accused of!! But surely the writers of a well established soap like that would have realised the results of hanging upside down trapped by legs in a car with a huge bleeding gash on her forehead would not be healed by the time she got to hospital, it was the walking by John's trolley without a limp which made me laugh - hey Moira where's your bruises?
