It was great for radio and not bad for TV too, it's not unlike other quiz/panel games. I wondered if some of that is rehearsed though, it must be difficult keeping up with the question and not having 'blank' moments.
You have to remember gran, they ain't as old as us ;o)
The original recordings are still far funnier than Ben Elton and his ilk.
I have been watching it and liked both episodes so far. They may have to tone down the guests a little as Julian Clary and Graham Norton can be a little 'over the top' on the radio prog. I hope they have Giles Brandreth on.
Sue Perkins was on panel again tonight.
They tried it on the telly a few years ago . It was on at lunchtimes then, and I remember the late Linda Smith being on it. However , Nicholas Parsons said the other night that they were trying it on TV because it had been running 45 years on the radio. But it's already BEEN on the telly.
And I like it.
I can't believe I have missed it on TV (love it on the radio)
When is it on?
better on radio..
6.00 in the evening BBC 2
I love this programme, and I'm sorry that it's finishing. There's no way it would work on television. The whole point of it is having to listen.
Thats why I miss it then (News is on at 6pm)
I will have to + it and watch later
Sorry - thanks for the info
Love it, it's been really funny and it's on again next week.
Oh good. I think it's so clever. Apparently they don't have any idea what the subjects are beforehand.
