I know there are a lot of adverts that get right up our noses (too numerous to mention) but it got me thinking about ads that have the opposite effect on us. The older ones among us will probably remember such classics as "Sonnetts, the sweets with the chocolate heart" and "The TV Times Tingle".
One of my all time favourite adverts was the one for Terry's All Gold chocolates (as featured in this youtube link). I don't know what it was but this particular advert always had a kind of "feel good" effect on me. What are your favourite TV adverts from years ago?

An earlier thread got me thinking about the nearest I ever came to taking drugs in the sixties. A lad brought along to the youth club dance some Phyllosan........Fortifies the over forties! Could do with some now.
Tate and Lyles golden syrup, it was a spoon dancing around covered in syrup and singing about all the things you could put it on, a really catchy song.
All-time classic!

The Honda balloon ad with someome miming Andy Williams, the impossible
dream. I just love the song and it makes me smile.
perhaps not a well-remembered ad like some of the others on this thread -
but stunning for the time (1990s) and an awesome piece of music that I've never been able to identify.

Squirrel - Carling Black Label - and it worked as an advert as I still remember what the advert was for!
