My family thought he was awful too.

Very nasal, mumbling everything, lost in himself. In fact his "nasal" singing got on my nerves.

While he was very "intense" and probably stood out from many of the other bland acts, I could not believe the enthusiasm from the panel or the audience.

He is the equivalent of a "one hit wonder" and wont go any further.
