What do you all think of Sue Johnston in corrie. I find her irritating [or might she grow on me if i give her a chance]. The jokes are amusing but she don't quite carry it off. She's not really a comic actress. Now Stephanie Cole who plays Roy's mum I like [but she's had a lot of time off because of illness.
Blanch is going to take a lot of living up to. I'm not sure if anyone ever will.

I can't stand her. No one will ever replace Blanche, but I do like Stephanie Cole. I'm hoping she won't last long and when she goes, she can take Tracy, Dev, Sunita, Julie and Brian with her!

I too didn't like Stella at first, but she's one of my favourite chracters now. I know she's popular, but I never took to Roy's Mum I'm afraid.

She's put me off watching Corrie. That and along with some very stupid storylines, e.g. young sister have older sister's baby as she does not want to miscarry again???

I didn't like Stella when she first arrived on her screens and I can say now that I still feel the same way, and as for Sue J joining the cast............her character is very annoying and I keep expecting her to ask what everyone has had for their tea, or to psychoanalyse them.

As for a replacement for Blanche.......can't be done, but I do like Stephanie Cole's character...
