The way the recent story line about non qualified people not mending gas boilers was ridiculously over the top. It was so obvious the message was meant for the viewer. Everyone wouldn't have gone on about it like it was shown. It was annoying.

Agree!
I think the proucers may have been spreading the message dave. People who are not qualified do tend to have a go,silly people.
I also agree, they should mind their own business and I feel that Tyrone should have owned up now, just not fair!
neti, no one in soapland minds their own business! :)
Well, neither do I, but that's not the point!!!
Tommy's got away with a warning, so no need for Ty to own up. Everything Ty does is to keep Ruby in his life, if he'd owned up Kirsty would have gone berserk (again) and probably left him this time and taken Ruby with her.

(Knows it's not rteal !!!).
All soaps used to be vehicles for carrying messages in the past though - The Archers used to be a storyline carrying messages for the farming community.
I think it's only illegal if you do it for payment, and not just helping a nieghbour.
The same with childminding, they can play in your house all day but if money changes hands it's illegal, that dosen't make sense, most people would rather leave their children with a friend than a stranger even though they have all the right papers. I know this is getting off the original subject.
