Really enjoyed this excellent programme which is going to run for 10 weeks. Did anyone else see it? I couldn't get over the fact that Harry Selfridge so much resembled Robert Moran in "The Paradise" - similar storyline too....

I enjoyed it, have set 'the machine' to record the series just in case i'm not in or forget, didn't realise it was 10 weeks!

I think it's 10 weeks but haven't double checked Mass - hope it is, it was really great!

I watched Mr Selfridge too and enjoyed it. It is going to be hard to come close to The Paradise . I thought that was splendid, and it is coming back for another series. Let us wait and see.

Me too Shaney, TV was so boring over Christmas and New Year (apart from Downton) so it will be great looking forward to this every Sunday evening at 9pm!

Yes it was nice to see "becky" again wasn't it, loved her in Coronation Street and still miss her! Katherine Kelly - the actress looks so different with dark hair.

Yes we know thanks!! Can't wait!! Hubby just spotted that this is a completely new series, brilliant. He has the book (Bradshaws Guide - replica i mean LOL) Did you watch the continental ones (Europe) this week, they were brilliant too.

Yes I did Anne . It was great .It was like a trip down memory lane for when he was in Germany .I 've been on that overhead railway many times .
I bought Mr S the Continental Bradshaws for Christmas .He was really pleased with it .It's got pull out maps and loads of interesting info .16 quid on Amazon .

We missed the Continental Railway Journeys programme on Thursday about Switzerland (apparently was the best one, as the scenery was fantastic) so want to see it on catch up if time tomorrow.
