I do find their Saturday Night Takeaway amusing - sometimes. However, tonight's show gets the thumbs down. Firstly there is the child that is Justin Bieber,; and horrors of horrors arguably the least talented person on television - Alan Carr.

Sounds like a good evening to watch a film.

I thought this was going to be an Ant and Dec bashing thread. I'm amazed at the amount of people who hate them! I love them! :-)

After his concert fiasco the other night, Bieber needs to be a little contrite this evening, and Carr will have to tone down the act.

Overall however, Ant & Dec cannot put a foot wrong ... everything they touch - turns to gold. It will be the usual good entertainment

Gotta say, I know what you mean about Carr starting to grate.
I was watching it last night, and I couldn't help but think a lot of his "interviews" are a bit strained.
He's funny when he's opening his globe, and pouring the Lambrini, but as soon as any of his guests start talking about something serious, he seems to go a bit awkward??

As for Ant and Dec. Sorry pet, I can't stand them.
I do watch it though, as my 5 year old likes little And and Dec :)

My colleague took her 14 year old niece to the Bieber concert on Monday. They had to get a taxi home as there were no trains running at 1am. Cost them £60!!! What a waste of an evening.

For the first time since I've been watching it, last night's Chatty Man just bored me. The whole Ant and Dec getting married thing, made me cringe.

I love Ant & Dec. They're great presenters, they can act (although I don't think they do that much now).

The jokes (cough) can be seen coming a mile off and probably from the spacestation. If they were on the BBC people would be asking how they command such a a huge pay packet.

I can honestly say, I don't find *any* of their 'jokes' funny... but then I am a miserable old cow, apparently! :P

Seriously though, it's all a bit too over-scripted and 'put on' for my liking.

As for that song, it's awful... and this is coming from someone who's got pretty bad taste when it comes to music.

I can't stand them either. I wouldn't know who they were if it was not for my daughter watching Byker Grove (was that the one? ) so long ago.
I'm sure they are likeable guys-but they never make me laugh...they have no depth.
