Did anyone see it tonight. The first man won £30,000 and all the rest went for the very lowest offer Luckily two went out but the last one went in for £1. They did'nt beat the chaser but I felt sorry for the man who had put the £30,0000 in.How can people be such cowards. Apart from anything else,my pride wouldn't let me do that.

just what i was thinking, i was shouting at the screen, not unheard of mind you, i would be well chuffed off if that was me, and we'd won. Having to split the money when the bloke took the quid...

i think the one last night was similar, dozy woman who took the lowest offer... i think it;s unfair on the other players not to give it your best shot...

I agree. If they beat the chaser, I think the contestants should keep half of what they win in the first round and then split the rest.

I did see it...and I was also annoyed, especially at the woman who went for a minus figure. Was delighted when she got knocked out. However, the person with a low amount could make it more likely to win the chase. Even if they only know one answer, that can make the difference between winning and losing. The fact that clever clogs 30K did not win with only one person proves this point. Which is why the chaser tries to encourage people to come closer and more likely to be knocked out.

I totally agree with you giveup. I have been watching this programme for a long time, and I get so annoyed at the freeloaders that it spoils it for me. What happened to sporting contestants?
