I think to "park" the body beneath the cliffs to persuade investigators that it was an accident.

It was high tide at the time of the murder....so the only way to get to the other beach was by boat.

Have just read my post and it seems a load of cr@p.
I could be wrong but..I thought he was going to dump the body at sea then felt sorry for the parents and brought it back. I listen but don't watch though so may have the wrong end of the stick.
He moved him round the coast to get him away from any evidence that could've been left in the hut. At least that's how I saw it.... Can't understand why he put the body on the beach then set fire to the boat though, why not leave the body in there? I did enjoy it though.
masma. hi how are you and the boy ? excuse me gav.
I heard that too gness.
Not bad ta Anne, thanks for asking. Mr M and I have had a rotten 18 months health wise, we're also up and down re the 'lad' (42 now!) He lost his job due to the demon drink, he's off it at the mo and in yet another job but don't know how long that'll last. Sorry Gav xx
i hope . one of these days masma he can stop for good. take care.
I've just watched the last episode as we were away, no surprise about the killer, but how did the Pauline Quirk character fit in and was the bald plumber her long lost son?
