OK, I would take issue with an MP who can't even be honest about his own appearance, but I don't live in Lichfield, so it doesn't matter a lot to me.
Aside from anything, if that is his own hair, why does he need to affect that self-aggrandising style that even Donald Trump would blush at?
And if it is a wig, where is the personal judgement in wearing something that looks like - as political commentator Michael Crick has opined - several My Little Ponies have perished to provide it to its wearer.
On HIGNFY, he came across as an utter buffoon, and in the Conservative Party, he's got some serious competition. The Tories have a role for a blond thatch-headed numpty, but it's been taken by Boris Johnson.
