I thought this was so weird and scary (but I am easily scared!) did any of you watch it? I just thought the reactions of people were underwhelming.

i thought it quite scary but very watchable, the violence took me off guard, but one to keep watching.

We recorded it so will probably watch it tonight. It sounded like a story Stephen King would dream up.

Very atmospheric, very watchable but worth the extra effort (concentration needed !).
A second series is already planned as it did so well in France.

Did it have subtitles all the way through, or just the beginning?

Made in France for French TV in French. So, yes, all subtitled!!
But... not difficult to follow... the subtitles.

Had seen the trailers and thought it might be worth a look,
then the subtitles came up, they didn't put those in the trailers,
so it was back to the x-words!

Forgot it was on until 10 mins after it started. Thought it was very weird and not sure if I would survive 8 episodes so think I'll give it a miss.

I was looking forward to it - but completely forgot about it. Is it repeated during the week?

Presumably the reactions were underwhelming due to the fact that the parents in particular didn't actually believe what they were seeing, were afraid it was a dream/fantasy though didn't their daughter to go away.
I really enjoyed it and found it very different.

I thought it very strange that Celeste didn't notice how her parents and sister had aged. Weren't her and her sister twins? She was just as she was when she 'died' Also, the little boy 'Victor' very odd, but I shall
watch it through.

She probably wouldn't notice it with her parents but she did start screaming at her sister.

I found it a bit slow, and rather gloomy, but will probably watch the next episode.
