Have been waiting for new series as I love it and can watch it over and over.

Love where it's filmed in Port Isaac (next county to me)

However I agree with Sipowicz, it started off OK but then got progressively more ridiculous - SO disappointed.

More Brian Rix that Doc Martin. I think it reached the end of the road at the end of the last series when he decided to stay in Cornwall, they'll struggle to make this series as good as the previous ones.

I thought the Doc had a morbid fear of blood...which was why he didn't follow his father and become a surgeon...plenty of blood in last nights episode...
