I just noticed a BMW that was parked blocking the pavement in a nearby street has been keyed from stem to stern. How much is it going to cost to repair the damage?

I probably would have done. It has prompted me to look at the neighbours in a new light. Who did it? The old lady with the walking frame or the young mother with a double buggy for the twins?

aren't beemers as cheap as chips anyway? As for blocking the pavement, a few screws under the tyres for good measure.......

Something exactly like this was in a film on TV, only a week or two ago. Julie Delpy and boyfriend wandering around Paris and talking a lot. They visit her parents. They walk to a street market with her dad, who takes a dislike to having to squeeze between a car parked on kerb and a wall, so keys it and announces that he does that sort of thing all the time.

Not a lot that can be done about anarchists who are past retirement age ;-)
