Wild China was screened on BBC Four on Saturday night. Unbelievable photography ! I can't recommend it highly enough. If you have a big TV it would be even better. Its still available on the iplayer. But hurry !

But why can't we have more of this sort of thing on the Beeb these days, instead of the reliance on so-called "reality" programs ? You can't get any more real than watching those langurs climbing around on the almost vertical walls of those mountains.
I would loved to see more of the cormorant fishing. I am still smiling, thinking of the Wongs bouncing up and down on their little boats, calling out to their birds. Magic !
