Coronation Street.
Has Tina finally seen the light? Things couldn't have gone worse this week for her romance.

Who knows how the plot lines are going at the moment. Kevin Webster is back but has been suspended again so they are going have to write him out - again. A lot of the cast who should be on leave have been called back in to work to re-do scenes and film new storylines. I imagine the writers are pulling their hair out. I can't see Kevin coming back after this.

Yes, a photo of him snorting cocaine appeared in the press.
"Granada did not consider sacking Harkishin despite newspaper revelations.
The spokeswoman said: "There was never any question of him being sacked.
"We are a responsible employer and we have a duty of care to our employees. The pressures Jimmi has been under are a result of him appearing in our show. We will help Jimmi to seek the help that he needs."

Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald) was also laid off from Corrie for 18 months after confessing to a £1000 a month cocaine habit

Hope so. I think it is important at least some of the older cast members are kept on, I would hate it to be full of teens and twenty-somethings. Still miss Vera and Jack, Hilda and Stan, Elsie and Annie Walker, even Ivy Brennan.
Blanche helped fill the gap as did Sylvia but I never really took to Gloria.
Strange how Maud Grimes, Percy Sugden, Reg Holdsworth and Maureen are never mentioned, not even in the commemorative shows.
I would love Curly Watts and Emma to come back as a happily married couple and Graham the butcher for the laughs.
