Cooking Programmes.

Only Five and a half hours of these on BBC today. Are they not popular ?

Seems like every day I say to myself, "Oh no! Not another cookery programme!" And every so often, a whole string of repeats come along. It's a Bank Holiday weekend, so there's no-one in the studio except for one poor guy sitting in a studio somewhere, making sure the recording playbacks don't mess up. Makes for cheap TV.

Whilst there are usually too many of them, it's also fair to say many of them I like so I don't know which to suggest culling.

Maybe there is only the 5½ hours because most viewers have learnt how to now ?
