Regarding Zeuhl's post, I'm always surprised when youngsters don't recognise the name of a Bronte. If the 23 year old graduate he mentions studied English, it's even worse.
Re the OP, you'd have thought people would recognise Jagger as being in the Stones, but I suppose if they're not interested in their music it might have passed them by.

Grech threw me, knew it couldn't be Cream - no Jack Bruce, and I know it was a supergroup. A lot of these people changed groups in the 1960's.
