In the part where the would-assassin is coming the stairs abot 45 min into the show) I thought the guard who tried to stop him looked very much like Jack(David Caves) from Silent Witness. Also, I am nearly 80 and had seen quite a few clips with reference to this period in my earlier years but it still never fails to shock me.

I totally agree! I would of expected for the images to be less shocking by now but they continue to be horrific. But I do wonder living at that time in Germany what could I of become. I cannot imagine doing the things that were done but hand on heart I don't know.

Stumbled over this last night while looking for something decent to watch. Found it absolutely spellbinding and the images can still shock me to the core. Very well acted.
