I thought the same. The actress in Corrie was in Eastenders, I seem to remember - Joe's Mum, I think. She was quite irritating!

I stopped watching all of them years ago, once they all started imitating each others' stories.

Yes, Corrie is so boring at the minute. The chicken story is awful. I can't think of one storyline that is the least bit interesting.

The problem is that now they are on 4, 5, or 6 days a week, the writers are having to fill more time and the stories are drawn out or repeated every couple of years.
