It`s about the lives of a selection of characters who are still enjoying the spoils of the British empire in India which runs parellel to the lives of local Indian characters, some of which are sympathetic to Gandhi. Basically, it`s about the end of the Empire.

I'm not understanding it that much but will probably keep watching as sometimes programmes do become clearer with time. x

I'm enjoying it... There's going to be lots of twists and turns in it... A lot of stories all coming together.. I think :o)
