That one took some silly liberties with the plot, at the beginning, then later it was more true to the books.
Demelza, in this one is looking as if she will be the key character as she is in the books......essentially an intelligent person who longs for a bit of education and refinement. She eventually grows up into a lady, with the help of Ross and Verity.
George in this version is a bit too refined....he is a rough person, who is trying to buy his way into the gentry, which he does but never quite becomes the refined gentleman he longs to be. He also loves Elizabeth and is torn apart by it.
So far, brilliant, and I also think Phil Davis as Jud is going to steal the show.
