Just googled it, svejk. This is the first series, the one with Timothy Spall was the second series- set in a hospital. That's the one I was thinking of too.

Wasn't the Spall one set in a supermarket and his character got knocked on the head in a robbery. Probably mixing up completely different shows knowing me.

Possibly was. Each episode was centred on a different character, so that may have been one of them.

I enjoyed this first episode of series 3, lots of little story lines being set up. As I've enjoyed the previous series, I'll watch it through to the end.

And for those like silliemillie - you don't need to have seen the previous series to tune in, as each series concerns new characters who have won the lottery as part of a syndicate.
