I don't think so - with his hushed tones and whispered commentary (reading from a script clearly) but still including his trademark smutty asides (about animals would you believe? like referring to creatures as lesbians). It was only two days ago that I heard and saw him on another programme where he was boasting about an unspeakable act involving Norman Lamont. I gather he was sent into the media wilderness following that debacle but who chose this platform for him to relaunch his "career"? Ufh!
It's interesting isn't it? With Julian you get what is says on the tin - they knew that when they chose him. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/comedy/11791061/Julian-Clary-People-see-innuendo-when-I-buy-a-tin-of-beans.html
Presenting a nature programme (on ITV) about small mammals and birds found in the surrounding woods and habitats as well as his own garden. And referring to one species as lesbians - possibly bats - I stopped listening and merely watched. He is slutty - the remark pertaining to small mammels was smutty - he is unable to take his mind off copulation it would seem. So I agree that while lesbians are not smutty he is. It is on ITV + 1 at the moment.
I enjoyed the programme Stargazer. He is what he is and you know what you're getting with him, he certainly didn't put me off. The baby owls were gorgeous.
