How dull. It needed another fire or a missing heir turning up.

It was yucky imo, everything turned out to rosy, needed the butler to die, or the newly married couple to have a serious car accident, or better still, a lightening bolt hits the house, and the building collapses, killing everybody except Grandma.

OH (under sufferance) and I watched it on catch-up so we could fast-forward the adverts. Thought it was wonderful, and at times I could hardly see the TV screen as my eyes were just welling up! wonderful ending, so pleased Julian Fellowes gave them all a happy ending. Nicely tied up!
