She also said she was a James Bond film fan. A Question turned up, what James Bond theme tune was NOT sung by a woman. She got it wrong.

I'd love to know how well you would do as a contestant,
it's easy from the comfort of your armchair isn't it?
The answers to 'easy' questions ( in normal circumstances , which you would correctly answer ) , can easily be got wrong , when you are under the blaze of studio lights / cameras etc
Put anyone under pressure and they risk saying something stupid.
It's not yet aired in Ireland. I'll wait until 6p.m. to see what you're talking about, I know I'd never have answered the bond question, the only thing I know about those films is where I can find the remote control
I had to laugh at the young lass who thought black bun would be eaten on Burns Night because burned things were black!!
"Q if a car travels a 40 mph how far will it have traveled in 1 hr and 1/4 Her answer 60 miles. And she was an accountant. "

Being an accountant she would automatically have added VAT @ 20%.
So, 40 x 1.25 = 50, plus VAT @ 20% = 60 !! :-)
NJ , I like your reasoning.
If you count Dr No, which didn't have a theme song, 8 weren't sung by women, so what was given as the right answer?
Thunderball by Tom Jones
Accountants are not necessarily good at maths (well mental arithmetic actually). I work with several who are not. They use calculators.
Didn't see it but I suspect the question would have been which of THESE three Bond songs was not sung by a woman.
The three Bond themes were Moonraker, Tomorrow Never Dies and Thunderball.
Yes, it was a choice of 3
Ah, that make more sense.
I have a friend who is a brilliant mathematician but can't do mental arithmetic to save his life. On top of that, what has knowing all the ins and outs of the tax laws got to do with arithmetic - that's what calculators are for.
