If this is on the same schedule as in the USA then you'll probably find it's on "mid-season break" as is typical of US series'. It'll be back usually in 4 or 6 weeks from the date of the last screening of a new episode. Repeats are shown in between to keep the schedule "slot".

Or you set a series link on a repeat and it's carried on....
Its probably the 'new' series on freeview. As far as I know, the actual new series (series 13) is only shown on FOX (Sky 124) at 9pm Friday. 3rd episode of the new series tomorrow.
The "new to 5usa" season, which is season 10, is on at 9 on monday nights on 5usa. Season 12 was shown on ch5 last year and is the most recent that the ch5 franchise on freeview have. As sdds said, the only brand new season 13,is on Fox.

Thank you all. I see now where my confusion has arisen from.

Happy New Year to everyone
It often happens that a series that was on another channel is announced as new when it is only new to that channel.
A money saving dodge by Ch 5 is to move a number of US crime series including, The Walking Dead, Law & Order SVU, Longmire and the last ever series of Law & Order to 5USA. Hard of hearing viewers will be aware that these programmes are now transmitted without subtitles. It's bad enough at the best of times to understand some of the American actors if your hearing is normal. so if you are hard of hearing and followed these series from the start, Ch5's response is, tough.

Ch 5's excuse is that it is expensive to add subtitles so they have shifted them from Ch5 to 5USA because Ofcom's target for subtitles is lower for the minor Freeview channels than for Ch5.

Luckily they haven't done it to NCIS, yet.
