Eddie...When I was a teenager in the 60's we had no hot hatches. Every boy wanted a MGB, or even better, a MGC !

I saw one of these a few weeks ago, and the owner let me sit in the driving seat, although I had to push the seat right back !

The car Top Gear featured may well have been a Brown & Gammon one. They have a lucrative sideline hiring out cars for TV and film.

Grumpy face never a smile - she looked like she was dragged kicking and screaming off the street and did not want to be there ; but rather at home knitting a sweater
I had an MGB roadster years ago ,love to drive one now but would not be able to get out.
I had a blue MG Midget when I was about 21yrs old, and was never short of girls, although I think it was my looks that attracted them, not the car :-).
Is the new MG range still based on the engine with the design fault on the head gasket?

Something called an EU6 engine apparently. But perhaps an expert on here could be more specific. I drive cars, not make them or maintain them !

I had 3 MGB Roadsters in the 70's, the last one was one of the last off the production line.
He's just announced he's standing down -see other thread
