How are they going to explain how he's aged when we know the Doctor transformed instead ?
Or is it just his voice they are using ?
what got me was seeing David Bradley do a makeover to
look just like William Hartnell the first ever Dr Who, it was spooky, i think its for the Christmas edition.
Lol, I remember watching him with my dad, big Afro, dodgy scarf, big piercing eyes. He WAS the best dr who compared to the others but I bet that’s as subjective as Who was the best 007 ( Roger Moore and Sean Connery ftw )

I am not sure who could be described as the "best" Doctor.

For me, the original one, William Hartnell will always be my favorite. I was 10 at the time the series started, and it was an overnight sensation. Boys in my class at school were imitating Daleks in the playground, within a couple of weeks.

But Tom Baker was probably the most fun, and every time I hear his voice, on an advert, or something or other, I find myself smiling !
william hartnell for me too, i watched it faithfully till i discovered music and dancing...........
thought he was deid !
Hartnell with the wild white hair is my lasting association with the Daleks !
william hartnell had quite coiffured hair, white but stylish as i recall.
as a child he seemed to be a mad professor type with loads of white hair..it may well have been well coiffed , but little kids don't see that... quite liked Troughton and the Master !
The background story hadn't been so filled in, in those days. He was playing a sort of eccentric professor uncle type at the time. I don't even think they had a vision of Timelords then. At least it wasn't appearing that way to me anyway.
Patrick Troughton was excellent too. Tom Baker's voice makes me smile as well, remembering how well it fitted on Little Britain.
