I hate to say Eleena I watched this for the first and last time last night - I just don't get it, wasn't funny, wasn't endearing, really slow and boring and a bit childish. Maybe just me as it's obviously popular.

I think it is lovely.
Both Lesley Manville and Peter Mullan are such excellent actors they keep the suspense going.
It is especially poignant for those of us in our sixties who have had relationships before or are divorced or widowed and are not ready to sudddenly leap into a new romance. We need time to work things out and this series shows how people approach a new beginning. I wish I was so lucky.
