Satellite Channel Numbers
Technophobe here. We have just had our TV connected to a Satellite dish. So all the Stations are in different places to where they were on the old Aerial. For example 1 used to be BBC 1 now it is Channel 4 and so on. Does anyone know of a website which lists the Channel number followed by the Station?

When you say "connected to a satellite dish" is it directly connected, or via some other box (e.g. Freesat or Sky)?
I only have experience of Freesat, where the channels start at 101:

I suggest you look in the manual for the TV, as there will be a method of re-numbering the channels. How does the TV know where you are, so how to choose the local BBC? It doesn't, so it will find every regional BBC1 and they will all have different numbers; it is down to you to decide which is yours and then choose a channel number for it. The same for ITV regional broadcasts. We have this problem every time we take our satellite dish camping with us; if we are at home we need BBC South, if we go to Lancashire we need BBC North West for weather/traffic etc. ALL the options will be there; you just need to choose the options you want and then allocate YOUR channel number to it.
Perhaps the TV software isn't up to date. If you can connect it to the internet, try doing as suggested here:
