If you're out and about in a storm today mind how you go.

Here in N Ireland there are gusts of 100 mph winds and we're advised to stay indoors.

Good advice.

awful ,stay safe x

Here in S.E.Scotlnd, wild gale blowing, waves crashing in - definitely a day to stay in unless really necessary.🍃

Damn Welsh storm, we're still trying to figure out how to pronounce the name!

^^ I call it  "E owe win" 😊

I believe the name is from the lord of the rings

We had pretty bad winds after midnight, predicted to be 70mph. It sounded like the earth was roaring for several hours...I couldn’t get to sleep.

Stay safe everyone 🙏.

TTT seems to be confusing Wales with Middle-earth!

The Dutch weather service, KNMI, suggested using the name Éowyn after public consulation in the Netherlands where, it seems, there must be plenty of fans of JRR Tolkien's Lord of the Rings (as that's where the name actually comes from).

Anyone who wishes to suggest a new storm name can do so here:

Very calm here and a bit of sun too 😁

I shall suggest storm TTT 🤣
