scotland or jersey.

Scotland as very dog friendly, lots of places to go and some great eateries

Scottish Highlands.  Stunningly beautiful scenery and some of the less well known glens are very quiet indeed.  I have had some of the best holidays of my life there - I was only reminscing with a friend the other night about the amazing time we had there.

Wester Ross.

London for the sightseeing, museums, galleries, the Changing of the Guard, and the theatre.  All the tourist things.

I'd also like to see Oxford. I'd have lunch in the Eagle&Child pub , washed down with a pint of 0-0 Guinness, and take a tour of the colleges and do a Morseland tour if there is such a thing.

I'd like to revisit the Norfolk Broads, I had 3 great holidays there.  They were a long time ago, so I've no idea if it would be as enjoyable these days.

Too many favourite places to choose from.

Probably another boating holiday on the Norfolk Broads or do a long distance trail on the Pennine Way.

Porthmadog for the steam railways and seaside.

Whitby is too busy these days so nearby for birdwatching at Flamborough - got to love a puffin

Various places in West of Scotland, for the scenery and the people.

The joy of discovering there are still places that the bank visits once a week and Sunday papers arrive on Monday and the cod you're eating at dinner was caught the same day. Heaven

Lake District. Absolutely gorgeous there. Failing that, the New Forest. Went there countless times as a nipper, and it would be lovely to revisit old sights.

I live in a holiday town so I'd probably go along the coast to one of the Cornish coastal villages. Mevagissy was great, I'd happily go back there or somewhere similar.

L-i-K, my parents used to live in Lowestoft, have some great memories of Norfolk.

The highlands of Scotland. Not too crowded....yet.

Anglesey because it's still a bit unkemp in places and has some lovely little coves and beaches. And lots of birdwatching. And happy memories.

Or Scotland for its empty wide open spaces, and good food. And family.

Also I quite like the English Riviera, bought the Jaaag from a bloke in Torquay!

Galway, where my Mum's side of the family are from. I haven't been since I was a small child and by all accounts it's very lovely.

Living in Scotland, there are so many places I'd like to return to,
eg. Oban (as gateway to the isles of Mull, Iona, etc), Skye and
the quaint little scenic fishing towns on Fife coast, Crail, Pittenweem, etc. Pitlochry for childhood memories and scenery.
If England, East Sussex, Rye area - quaint, interesting and coastal.

Jersey, had some lovely holidays there in the past.

Gower Coast, memories of my Mum

North Norfolk to visit friends and revisit old haunts .

// my parents used to live in Lowestoft, have some great memories of Norfolk. //

ooooh Mozz you have just thrown down the gauntlet to the people of Lowestoft with that fighting talk........ 😯

I'm Lowestoft born and bred, it's in Suffolk. Saying Lowestoft is in Norfolk is as bad as saying Leeds is in Lancashire! Smacked wrists....

It'd probably be Brighton for me.  It's an incredibly vibrant city, with two universities and countless language schools giving it a youthful feel and the massive gay community injecting so much life into it too.

It's worth going just to visit the (totally outrageous) Queen's Arms 😁
