i know it was a week ago but how were the best friend pairs decided.did housemates decide themselves or did bb pair them up?

I think they were asked to get themselves into best friend pairs. As they were asked to hold hands with that person it kind of ended up with them just choosing someone near them when they were sitting around in the living room area.
