i didnt watch any of this so have now idea how the process worked, but i bought the stage yesterday and its full of congratulations for connie, a musical theatre graduate. surely the fact that she graduated in the art made her a shoe in, and probably would have meant that she would get a similar job reguardless of the show. was the programme not something for people that havent had the opportunity to be in and go to musical auditions?

i know. i thought this too. fair enough she was probabl great for the role. but i didnt like the way andrew llyod webber told the other girls they were "just too inexperienced" and "not ready". wasnt that the point of the show? to cast a girl in a different way to usual. he might as well have just auditioned professionals if that was all he wanted.
