I missed the X Factor on Saturday but have seen the final 8 for each group - what happened to the amazing girl from last week who Simon said could "sing the phone book"?

Not entirely sure actually....but I know she was called Gemma, and I know there is a Gemma in Simon's last 8. I think it may be her...

if you mean the young one with 2 kids... she got through the first stage of boot camp but not to the final 8. simon said he liked her but her vocals dissapointed him on the day. she was on this morning today saying she was going to try and make it on her own! she also said that the second task at boot camp was to learn a song in 60 mins out of a list of 8 or so. she said she picked the one that she thought simon would like rather than the one she knew. i thought she was amazing too!

I missed most of the first episode, and was amazed she was missing. Thought she would breeze through to the finals tbh

Thanks, i can't really tell from the picture - will have to tune in on Saturday night. Yes though, it was the pretty black girl from the last week of auditions with shortish straight hair. She was really chilled out and Simon was really taken by her.
