Do people think Torchwood is suitable for my daughters to watch? They are 12 and 9 years old. Both have seen the first episode, I'm not sure whether to let them see the second... Also, am I the only person who think John Barrowman is drop dead gorgeous!?!?

Is the second one where that girl has sex with different men? Not sure it's really suitable.
I think you should watch it first, and deside for yourself if it is suitable for them.
It is not aimed at the young Doctor Who fans, hence being shown after 9pm.
Each new episode is on BBC3 on Sunday evening, and repeated there on Tuesday eveing, before being shown on BBC2.
My 11 year old watched, cringed at the sex bits a little but he enjoyed it! I think all kids will cringe a little if there's sex on TV and they're with their parents but it's human nature!

Only you can really decide if you want them to see it!
There have been several postings about John Barrowman lately and there are an awful lot of people myself included who think he is drop dead gorgeous.Sexy voice too ,but not for us ladies.Has a long time male partner Scott and they are having a civil partnership ceremony at Christmas.
John Barrowman is gorgeous. As for letting kids watch, it is on after 9pm, so viewers will know it contains scenes of violence/ sex/swearing. I personally would not let kids watch it.
No, I wouldn't allow a child to watch Torchwood, it's on after the watershed for a reason & it comes with a warning that it has adult content. The second episode has an explicit scene of two characters copulating in a public toilet, I can't remember exactly how much flesh was bared but I wouldn't want to be explaining that to a child.
Hello! We're doing some of the sound for the series at our studio and I've seen what comes up. Don't let your daughters see it, they'll be scarred! It's most definately not for kids.

Thanks all - I've been recording the episodes and deciding whether they're suitable or not as I go along.. I've let them watch all of them apart from the second one.
