does anyone else remember this strange czechoslovakian childrens programme from the seventies? - it used to scare me sooo much! would love to see it again now though!

Don't - leave the memory as it is. I had a friend who bought this on video, so I borrowed it, and it just ruined the memories. I can't explain it very well, it just did. Part of me hankers to see the old Robinson Crusoe and The White Horses but even if I had the chance, I don't think I would. Nostalgia isn't what it used to be.

Enjoyed watching that Postdog!.Like airedaledog,I remember it as being very scary,but,I think you're right,about rewatching childhood favs,they're never as good as you remember them! Although,I still love the Robinson Crusoe theme,its a total classic!

By the way, airedaledog, it was actually from the 50's. I was a kid in the 60's when I saw it, so you must be younger.

thanks everyone!..... watched the clip and you're right - it's just not the same - didn't even have to watch from behind a cushion! - although i AM 42 so perhaps thats not something to be quite so proud of!
