Sadly, no, apparently not yet anyhow. I read in one of the papers that she is due to be in a few more episodes yet, presumably confined to a hospital bed! Not sure about Betty!

I heard that she doesn't die until Christmas, but reveals next week that she has a brain tumour (which may or may not be true). There's a few rumours around, so probably best to just wait and see what happens

Spoiler alert - she dies and Martin is arrested for her murder at the funeral. Thought it was supposed to be prime time Christmas viewing though, didn't realise it was so soon.
