Does anyone know how Pauline Fowler is leaving Eastenders? I heard that she dies in a fire, but that has already happened and she survived. I have also heard that Martin is going to kill her. Is this true?

I dont really understand it, the fire has happened and now she says she has a tumour, but she is lying but the soap mags say she dies of the tumour and then they arrest Martin, so maybe martin kills her figuring that he can blame it on the tumour but when they find out she's been lying he gets arrested.
im hoping they all die, thus bringing Eastenders to its long awaited end.

I havent watched it in about 10 months, saw a few mins of it yesterday....its worse than I remember.

I agree space, how can this keep winning awards over corrie. Conspiracy I say :-0
She is leaving to go to acting school.

How such an awful "actress" has managed to sustain such a long career I'll never know.
My money's on suicide. She's told them all she's got a tumour and sooner or later they're going to twig. I can't see her having the humility to own up, and it would be the ideal thing to make all those around her feel guilty.

Like Barbara Windsor, when she first started it wasn't acting ability that was needed. All the producers etc wanted were a couple of other assets. Thing is, those assets tend to depreciate with age, so in the end you've got nothing.

But unlike Barbara, Wendy Richard is a supporter of greyhound welfare, so she's actually in my good books.
spaced, I agree. What a load of tosh, I haven't watched it for about five years, then when I switch over by accident they are still arguing. We have enough doom and gloom in real life, we don't need more. Corrie every time, I say. At least you get a laugh and don't have to take it too seriously. Pauline Fowler - or Wendy Richard rather - might be an animal lover, which is the most important thing in my book, but she is a miserable c^w, I saw her in Brighton once, her face turned my newly bought pint of milk sour.
I heard Sonia kills her - but I don't know how!
she goes into hospital to have a smile put on her face but dies on the operating table
According to the Radio Times (or Guardian Guide, I forget which) she is "hoist by her own petard" and actually does have a brain tumour.

A case of be careful what you wish for.
But if thats true how does martin get done for her murder?
I haven't heard that but good luck to him.

I can't believe he's gone so long without bludgeonning the mean sourfaced evil meddling b1tch to death.
But really if he'd stood up to her and not been such a wuss she wouldnt keep doing it. His own fault
I don't think he's bright enough to face up to anyone constructively. He needs to be led.

If he were my husband we would moved out of Albert Sq and away from Pauline about 15 mins after the wedding and not left a forwarding address.
well as far as i'm aware she dies of a tumour it is martin that apparently tries to stab SONIA not Pauline.
Good grief.

I thought they were back together and loved up and she'd renounced her lesbianosity and averything.
Er, typo... I meant everything.
She has to act here way out of a wet paper bag and suffocates during the attempt.
We've only been told that Martin is arrested at Pauline's funeral - not that he had anything to do with her death.
Yeah she's definately leaving the program, Martin and Sonia finally get together and leave Pauline, so she packs up to head for America to be with Michelle and family.
