Eastenders
Does anyone know how Pauline Fowler is leaving Eastenders? I heard that she dies in a fire, but that has already happened and she survived. I have also heard that Martin is going to kill her. Is this true?

How such an awful "actress" has managed to sustain such a long career I'll never know.
Like Barbara Windsor, when she first started it wasn't acting ability that was needed. All the producers etc wanted were a couple of other assets. Thing is, those assets tend to depreciate with age, so in the end you've got nothing.
But unlike Barbara, Wendy Richard is a supporter of greyhound welfare, so she's actually in my good books.

spaced, I agree. What a load of tosh, I haven't watched it for about five years, then when I switch over by accident they are still arguing. We have enough doom and gloom in real life, we don't need more. Corrie every time, I say. At least you get a laugh and don't have to take it too seriously. Pauline Fowler - or Wendy Richard rather - might be an animal lover, which is the most important thing in my book, but she is a miserable c^w, I saw her in Brighton once, her face turned my newly bought pint of milk sour.
