which is better, fame acadamy or pop idol? and dont give the standard same old answer NEITHER, just pick one!

OK, neck on the line and admit it, Kate......Fame Academy! I didn't really watch either of the previous series, but I think that Fame Academy encourages real talent.....not just by forcing these wannabes to release cover versions. I like originality better than just being able to sing well.

I like 'Pop Idol' but i can't understand why people are upset at being told the truth by a group of people with proven track records in spotting talent. If I was a singer, and I had the chance of that level of advice for free, I'd take it. Given that this is series two, can people still be shocked at how brutal the judges can be? If contestantd can't take criticism at this early stage, they are heaing for the wrong career. Music is a very very tough business - get used to it, or look for something else. I don't like Fame Academy because it has Patrick (we know he's rubbish but we have a contract so you'd better get used to him) Kielty on - say no more!

Pop Idol.I dont care who wins but it is at least entertaining.

Pop idol wins.If you want to be entertained, have a good laugh and cringe at some of the auditions then this is the show.Plus hearing what the judges have to say is classic
