Corrie - Michelles flat (Use to be Steve's)

Sat here watching omnibus of Corrie whilst browsing AB (mutli-taking you see!) and just watched the bit in Michelles flat and Sunny cooking for all her family. I swear you couldn't walk into the kitchen from the livingroom when Steve lived there (it is the same flat isn't it?) Has reference been made in the past to having the wall knocked through into the kitchen?

I know I am a bit sad but starting to wonder what I have missed! I'm obvisouly paying too much attention to AB and not me soaps!!

i was thinking the same, also amazes me just how many flats are available on the street, as son as someone new comes into it they manage to get one!!, still love it tho!

What gets me about it, and all the other soaps really, is that you have a lot of people who - in the real world - would be on a low income with little money to spare, and yet they are ALWAYS in the pub.

Around here it`s the low incomers that do manage to be in the pubs/amusement arcades etc all day, while my husband & many other people work hard every day for what we manage to get/buy/do.

I think you're thinking of 2 different flats. Are you thinking of the one he lived in with Karen? The one Michelle now has (and can afford on a p/t barmaids salary!) is another one , attached in some way to the cab office. His Mum also lived there for a while.
It's annoying me now who else lived there before her............

Hmmm I thought it was the one above the cabin as when she was there early one morning (I'm pretty sure it was def the one behind the cabin) to clean it before she moved in and she was talking to Rita or/and Norris and Steve turned up and told her he used to live there and she said "Oh these must be yours then!" and took out a smelly sock and a porno mag which he said must have belonged to Vernon. I thought Vernon stayed with Steve and his Mum, I don't think Steve ever shared the other flat with his Mum that she shared with Maria.

Pretty sure it was the one behind the cabin that Shaun waited outside of when he was waiting for Sunny to leave so he could confront him about now being straight after they had had a relationship together.

God I am so sad but this kind of thing bugs me! Thank you very much for your reply Galltin :o)

No Steve didn't share with his Mum , he lived in it , then Liz and Maria. (And someone before Steve but I can't remember who). I know the scene you mean with the porno mag , but that wasn't the flat Steve shared with Karen.

I'm getting confused now.......................................
