Wild at Heart

Does anyone else find Wild at Heart a load of rubbish, and yet it is now into it's second series? I cannot stand the two main cast members Amanda Holden & Stephen Tompkinson they are so unconvincing. They both look as if a weekend under canvas in this country would be an ordeal for them. I think an actor such as Brian Blessed would have fitted Tompkinson's role much better, but I can't think who would have been best partnering him. Any ideas?

I was really looking forward to this series,remembering the likes of Daktari,which I loved,as a child.However,I gave up after a couple of episodes of Wild at Heart,cos it is so unbelievable to have the family running around the African bush on their own,and every week they are confronted by a lion etc and nearly killed! BBC 2's Safari School,shows it up even more.
