Osprey, just re-read that link, it goes off on a tangent sooner than I thought. So here goes (from memory)
One guy came in with a glove you wore on your right hand so that when you are driving in Europe you knew which side of the road you should be on, Dragons didn't go for it.
Woman came in with what looked like a 'cool box', basically you put new born lambs in it, filled it up with warm water and this revived the lambs born in cold/snowy weather. Dragons didn't go for it.
Two guys wanted the Dragons to invest in their refridgerated transport business. The guys were brilliant and they had all their facts and figures and had invested a substantial amount of their own money in the business, which was thriving. The Dragons ended up undercutting each other to get a part of the business, it was brilliant, they were nearly drooling at the prospect. Dragons went for it.
A guy called Levi Roots (real name Keith) wanted them to invest in his Reggae Reggae Sauce, and although he got his figures wrong, his personality shone through, he was fantastic, came across as a really nice bloke. Peter Jones took up the mantle and offered him the cash, although I think ,in part, purely because Levi's personality and charisma alone would sell the sauce! It was really good TV.
Hope that helps.
