The woman who can't stop lying - what did you make of her? Should she be pitied or vilified?

Hmm,i`m still undecided on that one,i didn`t really know how to take her,i get the feeling though that the man she met up for a drink with would take her back in a heartbeat,he was still in love with her wasn`t he?It doesn`t say much for the councelling in prisons either does it if she`s still telling woppers, not that i`m blaming them.
I tend to think villified. I was prepared to believe she was truely sorry but then she started lying again at the end so she is still in the same mindset.
She lives near me and is a relative of a family friend - she is a compulsive liar and fraudster and will do it again. She lied to her whole family about being ill
I missed the very beginning of the programme and i`d like to know if she started lying to con people or has she been lying since a young age?
As far as I know its just been to con people
