does anyone know the name of a serie it had a story about aboy who found egg, hatched it and it was a reptile he called nim. also a woman who was marine scientist .driving me mad not knowing the name help!!!!!

It was called Surface.
They started to show it on (Ithink) ITV1.We started to watch it on that channel as my little boy loved it and it was on late afternoon so he could watch it.After about 4 weeks they stopped showing it b***er.

It started off well but it got a bit drawn out and boring, Only one series was made as it was pulled by the makers.
