This is a very tricky question, but one we clearly need to know the answer to.

I would put forward the argument that PC Plum would obviously have had some form of lethal force training whilst going through training. Hard to imagine, but he almost certainly knows how to handle himself should a fight be presented.

On the other side we have Bungle. A bear who mysteriously looks like a man in a bear suit. That aside, a bear has overwhelming natural instincts. I would suppose that, if pushed, this camp beast would turn into something from every child's nightmares.

Both very admirable contenders, but I would have to side with Bungle because a) Plum won't have been trained how to calm a rampant bear, b) I grew up with Rainbow, c) my daughter is putting me through Balamoray hell and d) PLUM? Come on, he's nearly as camp as Archie!

I had thought of Archie's kinsmanship to MacGyver, but dismissed it purely because of the usefulness of his creations. Bungle would just laugh at having a plastic milk bottle waved at him. Unless it was full of petrol, but I doubt Archie would think of that.
