I realise that this may well ahve been addressed before but I'm getting really fed up with the format of this programme to the extent that I am recording it and fast-forwarding it when watching directly to the questions.

It would be a much better programme if the Eggheads weren't given any options to choose their answers from as 99% of the time one of the options can be immediately discounted and the answer can easily be deduced from the remaining 2. As the Eggheads are so professional in their approach to quizzes, this would give their opponents a greater chance of winning.

thats a good idea.

DOWN WITH CJ.
Here's an idea, watch the Simpsons instead ; - ) )

Seriously tho', I know just what you mean, the whole thing, for the most part, looks as easy as falling off a log to the Eggheads, which in turn takes the pleasure away from the viewer.
And they seem to ge getting increasingly unable to disguise their irritation at the whole multiple-choice format.
Do you think Judith kepple is looking very different lately. I can`t put my finger on it only she just seems thinner faced or something. Thanks.
cj,answers all seem to be ,i should know this one, and chris, rather than answer the question goes all round the houses, i used to like the programme but really annoying, all seem so self righteous except daphne and some sometimes even she does
CJ pompous to**er!
I think the subjects should be broader, ie instead of entertainment have it more specialised, like 90's music, the films of john wayne, hollywood musicals etc. Pub quiz bores such as the eggheads know all the classic pub quiz questions so it has become very tedious!!! The old biddy is the most annoying, followed by the fat bloke!
Hey Dave..........can you narrow it down with 'fat bloke'?? both of them are carrying a bit more than is healthy lol what annoys me is that they just seem sooooooooo smug, and they way CJ shakes his head when he 'knows' the visiting team have got it wrong!!! : (
I agree that Judith looks a bit thin in the face too!
I have to turn off, they all seem so pompous and smarmy ! It's like having to sit down and compete with a set of encyclopedia compilers, the poor 'normal' team never seem to have a chance and when they pretend to think about an answer just to look less smug...aagh!
i think it is a super teatime lighthearted quiz show, the whole idea is to see if they can be beaten by any other ordinary quiz team, which they have been on several occasions,i think they are encouraged to answer the questions the way they do, eliminating two and giving the third as the answer both teams do it that way, it also has excellent viewing figuers, the choice we have now on tv, there is no need to watch anything that annoys you.
I think that the 4 "unbeatables should offer their services for next years Children In Need. Put them into stocks so that we could throw things at them (the more unusual the object, the more it costs you). I bet the queue would be longer than Primark on an opening day.
Question : How do the Eggheads know all the answers?

Answer : They don't waste theit time watching "Eggheads" on BBC2. Instead they watch a far more informative programme on at the same time on BBC1..also often presented by the guy who fronts "Eggheads"!

Strange that, isn't it!
dusty bin what you seem to forget is that the news is on numerous times a day so if you miss one edition you can see it some other time that day, unlike eggheads which is only on once a day but can also be informative!!!!
